Dr. Christina

Dr. Christina always had a desire to enter the health care field and spend her life helping others. She chose the chiropractic career path because she wanted to offer a holistic and whole body approach to her patients. Dr. Christina experienced the benefits of chiropractic herself when she sought chiropractic care for an ongoing back issue. Dr. Christina had gone through a year of treatment on her back which included injections and physical therapy. None of her treatments helped with her chronic pain. It wasn't until she sought chiropractic care that she finally discovered the cause for her low back problems. Dr. Christina learned her low back was unstable and it was due to her spine being "locked up" in her mid back. All her other treatments were focusing on the painful area while the chiropractor found the cause of the problem. Once she was adjusted in her midback her low back pain went away.
Dr. Christina graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa Magnum Cum Laude and received the honors of Salutatorian and Presidential Scholar. Dr. Christina continued her education with postgraduate training and education for the care of children and pregnant women. Dr. Christina is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association which is a "collection of practitioners who provide a holistic approach to family wellness, and provide quality chiropractic care which is specific for children (including infants), and pregnant women. " Dr. Christina is also certified through the ICPA in the Webster’s technique. This technique is a specific chiropractic adjustment which helps to correct sacral misalignment, balance pelvic muscles and ligaments which in turn removes torsion to the woman's uterus, its resulting constraint to the baby, and allows the baby to get into the best possible position for birth. While Dr. Christina has added training in the care of children and pregnant women, she enjoys caring for all types of patients. Chiropractic care allows Dr. Christina to have a family wellness practice and care for people of all ages from newborns to the elderly.
